Neurotoxins “Advanced Applications” is a comprehensive introduction to advanced cosmetic injections with neuromodulators, specifically, Botox® Cosmetic and Jeuveau® of the lower face and is intended for providers to include nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, dentists, and dental hygienists. Upon satisfactory completion of the course material and a post test score of greater than 80%, 31.5 CME credits will be awarded.

Dermal Filler, “Advanced Applications” is a comprehensive course designed to cover volume loss, tissue descent, and hollowing of the aging face as it relates to cosmetic injections with dermal fillers, specifically, advanced applications of hyaluronic acids fillers, and is intended for providers to include nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, dentists, and dental hygienists. Upon satisfactory completion of the course material and a post test score of greater than 80%, 31.5 CME credits will be awarded.

☑️ Consider the normal aging process and its impact on volume depletion, tissue descent, and hallowing of the mid to lower one-third of the face

☑️ Explore gender differences and individual variations as they apply to injections of advanced dermal filler

☑️ Understand ideal facial proportions and apply the horizontal rule of thirds and vertical rule of fifths during the assessment and consultation process

☑️ Evaluate patients for appropriate use of advanced dermal filler by performing a top to bottom assessment of the face and review their goals& expectations, and potential challenges

☑️ Understand the process of mixing dermal fillers with lidocaine or saline prior to injecting

☑️ Understand the characteristics associated with hyaluronic acid fillers, specifically viscosity, G prime, and crosslinking, and which filler is best suited for certain areas of the face based on these characteristics

☑️ Understand the neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the facial musculature, as well as underlying vessels for advanced filler injections

☑️ Understand the injection techniques for advanced applications of dermal filler to include the following: temples, eye troughs, cheeks, prejowl sulcus, chin, angle of the jaw, submalar area, and rejuvenation of the hands

☑️ Understand the etiology and management of complications of advanced dermal filler injections and how to avoid undesired or adverse outcomes
